Two guests, a male and a female, have their picture taken at MSSU's 1975 stadium dedication ceremony. Fred G. Hughes Stadium opened in 1975. It was the first state college stadium in Missouri to use artificial turf. The stadium is named after Fred G. Hughes, who was president of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents between 1964 and 1981.
